Description
When an autistic or neurodivergent young person is in school transition, or is recently a high school or college graduate, finding the right job or career can be overwhelming and scary. These persons are seeking employment opportunities with a good match to their skills and strengths in workplaces that are inclusive, and psychologically safe. More importantly, young persons need to handle daily obstacles and on- the- job adversities and this can only be done with developing self-advocacy skills.
I offer Thrive Career Coaching with youth or youth with their parents, carers, or mentors.
I use exclusive tools with a self-advocacy skill method only found in my Thrive Career Coaching.
The Deep Dive session is also designed to help the student/young adult respond to life’s goals with resilience, and feelings of psychological safety and belonging. Understanding how to use self-advocacy skills can prevent being bullied or bad circumstances, such as getting fired. It is all about knowing when and how to speak up for oneself or having someone to speak up for and with the person/employee.
